pensions

Have you tried to claim your pension Yet?
when you do the very helpful people tell you that if you leave it for a year ,when you claim the government add 10.4% interest, great, you think. I just did this and when I claimed after one year, I was told that not only could I not have the interest I could not have my pension either. so here Iam at 66 and being told they have to sort out how much they will pay me, I cant have my pension from retirement age because the wife had cancer and I had to stop work to care for here, as a carer I was paid 172-00 pounds each month, and as I cared for here for the first six months of my retirement, then I am not entitled to my old age pension. So instead of the 3,500 to 4,000 pounds I was expacting ,what I got was 1900 pounds and of course from this Gordam brown had his share which was 400 pounds so after being retired for 15 months all I got was 1200 pounds this works out that my old age pension is worth roughly 32-00 pounds a week. oh yes and if I keep working I can now earn the princely sum of, 1100 pounds a year before Gordon wants his share of my wages in tax. so with the 74.00 pension and the 20.00 a week earned income the wife and I can live like just like a third world couple. my total income for the year will be just under what Gordon wants me to pay in council tax for our house. so I guess the gas and electric must be free and food will be a luxury, Three cheers for the working mans party.
What a mess this country is in. we are governed by a man who wouldn't know the truth if it jumped up and bit him. and a man who thinks every one lives for free like him.but we must look on the bright side. I woke up this morning checked the obituary column in the paper I wasn't there so I got up.
